Windswept

The north and west coasts of Scotland are dotted with islands, many little more than rocks strewn in a cold and stormy sea. These are windswept places: landscapes scoured round and smooth by time, glaciers, and ocean winds. This pullover features a lace panel inspired by this wave-battered landscape, knit in a yarn dyed on the Isle of Skye.

Gauge: 22 sts & 26 rows / 4” in stockinette stitch

Materials Used: 375 (400, 450, 500, 600, 700, 800, 900, 950, 1000, 1100, 1200, 1300, 1400, 1500, 1600) yds DK weight yarn (sample shown in Shilasdair Luxury DK in ‘fleece cloud’)

Needle Size: US #6 / 4.0mm (or as required to meet gauge) 24”+ circular and double pointed needles
