Kinusaiga with Hannah - January 22nd
Kinusaiga with Hannah - January 22nd
January 22, 2027, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM
Class limited to 6 attendees.
Our classes require a minimum of 2 (two) attendees for a class to be held. Should we not meet the minimum requirements, you will be notified no less than 7 days prior, and you will be refunded for your purchase.
Discover the fun of creating fabric art—no sewing required! Kinusaiga is a technique that creates designs by tucking fabric edges into grooves cut into a foam base, giving the appearance of patchwork without a needle and thread.
Join Hannah to create an 8 × 8-inch quilt block–inspired piece while learning how to prepare your foam, arrange your fabrics, and tuck them into place.
We will not be framing or adding borders in class, but Hannah will explain the finishing process so you can complete and display your piece at home.
Please bring:
-
Six 10-inch fabric squares: one green for the stems, one cream for the background, and four coordinating fabrics.
-
Fabric scissors
-
An X-Acto knife
-
A seam ripper—required! This is the main tool we will use to tuck the fabric into the foam.
Your class includes the foam, template, and adhesive.
Important Policies:
- Please note that course fees are non-refundable.
- In the event of inclement weather, the course will be rescheduled.
- Participants should be able to perform repetitive hand and wrist movements.
