Flower Bowl Cozies with Marie

Class limited to 6 attendees.

In this beginner-friendly class, we’ll be making the charming Flower Bowl Cozy using Minki Kim’s adorable pattern. With sweet petal details and endless fabric possibilities, this project is as fun to sew as it is useful. Along the way, you’ll learn how to use a seam guide for even quilting and sew darts to transform flat fabric into a beautifully rounded bowl.
Come make a flower bowl in class so you’ll have the skills to make more at home whether you’re organizing notions, gifting handmade love, or just want a happy little bowl on your table.

Skill Level:
Students should have basic sewing experience, be comfortable using a sewing machine, and able to sew an accurate seam allowance.

What to bring to class:
Sharp scissors
Fabric marking pen
Pins or Wonder Clips
A hand sewing needle

If you are bringing your own machine, you will need a seam guide for this class.
You MUST be familiar with using a sewing machine. If you bring your own, please make sure it is in good working order, has a full bobbin, a fresh needle, and a ¼ inch quilting foot.
If you use our machine, it will be ready to go. If you have never used one, please come a little early to familiarize yourself with the machine.
We will not have time in class for basic machine instruction.


Included: 
Minki Kim’s Flower Bowl Cozy pattern and fabric kit to complete the project in class (fabrics may vary). We will be making the large bowl cozy in class.

Note: If you need to purchase materials for this class, please come to the shop during regular shop hours- or 30 minutes prior to class starting. Yarn should be wound prior to class.
