Sew A Pillow Cover with Tammy - June 14th

Description: Enhance your home decor with a handmade touch! In this engaging class, you'll use your fundamental sewing skills to craft a charming pillow cover. Our simple and easy-to-follow pattern makes this project accessible to anyone comfortable with basic machine sewing. Our instructor, Tammy, will provide step-by-step guidance through the cutting and construction process, empowering you to create pillow covers that perfectly match your style or celebrate any season.

What's Included: A printed pillow cover pattern.

Skill Requirements: This class requires proficiency in operating a sewing machine (either your own or one of ours), sewing a consistent straight stitch, sewing accurately along a straight line, and maintaining a 1/4" seam allowance.

Class Capacity: Limited to 6 participants for personalized instruction.

Materials You'll Need: (Purchase options available at Humble Stitch)

• 1 yard of your chosen fabric
• Coordinating thread
• Your own sewing machine OR reserve one of our classroom Bernina machines (courtesy of Hoover's Bernina Sew)
• Rotary cutter
• Quilting ruler (12-18 inches recommended)
• Pins or binding clips
• Small cutting mat
• Fabric scissors

Sewing Machine Information: We offer a limited number of Bernina sewing machines for student use. Please inform us before the class date if you wish to reserve one.

Kindly Note:

• Must be able to make small repetitive movements with your hands and wrists and be at least 18 years of age or older to attend.
• Class fees are non-refundable.
• If severe weather prevents us from holding the class, it will be rescheduled for a later date.
