Sizes:

NB, 3 months, 6 months, 12 months, 2T, 6, 8, 10 (Cardigan directions are in size NB. Changes for 3 months, 6 months, 12 months, 2T, 4, 6, 8, and 10 are in parentheses). 

Yarn:

This cardigan was made with Rowan Superwash Pure Wool. However, any soft worsted weight yarn will work. (Aran weight).

Amount for Cardigan:

200 (276, 300, 350, 400) [500, 550, 600, 650] yards.

Knitting Needles:

5 mm [US 8] circular needles (16" - 20" - 40 cm - 50 cm)

4 x 5 mm (8 US) DPNs

1 cable needle

Extra Materials:

Tapestry needle to weave in ends

Tape measure or ruler

2 markers of one color

4 markers of one color for sleeves

2 markers of one color for back

8 markers of a different color for cable markers

5-8 buttons (3/4" - 2 cm)

Gauge:

18 st = 4" (10cm); 26 rows = 4 (10 cm) in stockinette stitch.

Finished Sizes:

(Chest is 2" - 3" [5 - 7.5 cm] wider than average chest size to allow for a looser fit)
