Named for the beloved Scottish veterinarian James Herriot, this is one of the original yarns when Juniper Moon Farm first launched. Baby Alpaca is the softest fiber from an adult alpaca's fleece. You'll appreciate that softness both as you are knitting or crocheting and when you are wearing your new sweater.

Soft enough for a sweater, but durable enough for socks. Great for shawls, too! A touch of nylon gives this Baby Alpaca yarn extra strength. An excellent choice when you want to knit or crochet warm while still lightweight sweaters.
