Learn how to make the Granny Circle with lace edge, and how to join your circles! The project options are endless, from blankets to bags, pillows, and even sweaters! You can't go wrong by learning how to create these adorable circles!

You will learn crochet basics in a friendly and relaxed environment. Traditional, or classic, granny squares are typically made using double crochet stitches and are often worked in a variety of colors to create a multicolored, patchwork effect. These squares are a popular choice for many crochet projects, as they are versatile, easy to work with, and can be stitched together to create a wide range of items, from blankets and afghans to bags and pouches.

Skill Level: Intermediate
Must know how to chain, slip stitch, single crochet, and double crochet.

Required Materials:
Materials are separate from the cost of the class. You are welcome to bring hooks and notions from home if you already have them. If you need to purchase class supplies, we kindly ask that you consider Humble Stitch as a source. It is our experience that people learn faster and have a more enjoyable time when they use quality tools and materials. However, this is not required.

Yarn:Lori Holt Chunky Thread 
Stitch Markers with clips or safety pins
Darning needles 
Scissors (Small Snips)

Note: If you need to purchase materials for this class, please come to the shop during regular shop hours- or 30 minutes prior to class starting. Yarn should be wound prior to class.
