Beginner Quilting with Carol

This is a 2-part class.

Part 1: May 16, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 pm
Part 2: May 30, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 pm
Class is limited to 6 students (with a minimum of two students or class will be rescheduled)

Join Carol for this amazing beginner quilting class. In this class you will be making the Mini Popsicle table runner from Fig & Tree Co. This class is ideal for those confident in sewing and is the perfect class for you to explore the world of piecing. You will be required to do some homework between both classes.

Included: Fabric kit to complete the project. Fabrics in the kit are different than the fabrics reflected in the graphic.

Required Materials:

(Available for purchase at Humble Stitch if needed.)
Sewing Machine (Bring your own or reserve one of ours)
Thread (Sewing thread should be 100% cotton 50 weight)
Rotary cutter
Quilting ruler (6"x24" would be best)
Pins
Seam ripper
Wonder Clips or pins
Small scissors
Frixion Pen or other temporary pen for marking quilting lines

Notes:
You have the option to bring your own sewing machine or reserve one of ours. Thanks to our partnership with Hoover's Bernina Sew, we have Bernina 475's and 570's, for classroom use.
* If you would like to reserve one of our machines, please let us know prior to the day of class.
* If you are bringing your own machine, please have it loaded with a full bobbin and a fresh 80/12 needle.
* A cutting station and an Ironing station will be set up for your use.
* Project in picture is a sample. Kit fabric colors may vary.
