Beginner Crochet with Angie - Two Part Class - May 10th & 17th

This crochet class is for the absolute beginner, or for those who learned to crochet years ago but can’t remember a thing about it!  Everyone has to start somewhere so why not start with Humble Stitch!
 
Class-goers will learn crochet basics in a friendly and relaxed environment. Skills that you will learn include how to make chain, single, half-double, and double crochet stitches, how to turn your work, how to end your work, and how to secure your yarn tails to finish your work. By the end of class, you should have the knowledge to make easy projects and the confidence to build on the skills you learned.
 
Class limit of 6
Cost of class is $50 (materials not included)

Materials are separate from the cost of the class. You are welcome to bring hooks and notions from home if you already have them.
If you need to purchase class supplies, we kindly ask that you consider Humble Stitch as a source. It is our experience that people learn faster and have a more enjoyable time when they use quality tools and materials. However, this is not required. 

Note: Please arrive 30 minutes prior to class if you will need to purchase supplies or have yarn wound that evening. 

Note: Yarn should be wound and ready for use by the time class begins. 

Required materials:
(Approximate costs listed for those who do not already have these items at home.)

Hooks: I, J10, K ($9.99) (5.50 mm, 6.00 mm, or 6.50 mm)
Yarn: One skein of worsted weight yarn ($9 to $25 per skein) 
Notions: Darning needles ($5.99) 
Scissors (Small Snips)

If there in inclement weather, class will be rescheduled. 

Must be 18 years of age or older and be able to make small repetitive movements with your hands and wrists.
