Part 1: January 24, 2026, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM
Part 2: January 31, 2026, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM
Class limited to 6 attendees
This class is ideal for those confident in sewing. In this class, we will learn how to cut and assemble a Dresden Plate and how to machine applique the piece onto a sweatshirt.
Skill Level:
Intermediate - You must be able to properly thread and use a sewing machine, keep a 1/4-inch seam allowance, and use a rotary cutter.
Required Materials (Materials to bring to class):
A sweatshirt
19 (3 x 5.5 Inch) Pieces of fabric for the blades
1 (3x3 Inch) Block for the center of the plate
Sewing Machine
Thread to match your fabric
Thread to match your sweatshirt
Scissors
Note: If you can, please bring a cutting mat and rotary cutter/ iron and ironing mat (this will allow us to work quicker as a group
